DAY 1 | Saturday, January 21st Arrival Day.
You will arrive at the Honolulu International Airport and take either a taxi or Uber to hotel. A short thirty-minute drive and you will arrive at The Kahala Resort; a legendary luxury five star hideaway, visited by stars, Presidents and Royalty. Your home for the next week!
6:00PM | Post Plane Yoga and Meditation Yoga Practice. Get grounded and absorb the healing energy of the island!
DAY 2 | Sunday, January 22nd
6:00AM | Sunrise hike to Makapu’u Point Lighthouse trail. See outstanding views of O’ahu’s Coastline, including Koko Head and Koko Crater. This time of the year we may even see humpback whales.
10:00AM | Morning Yoga & Meditation + Breakfast. 12:00PM – 6:00PM | Free time (Relax by the pool, watch the dolphins, go for a swim in the blue, or navigate the island as you choose.)

DAY 3 | Monday, January 23rd

Time TBD | Visit the North Shore. We will spend some downtime at the iconic beaches of Waimea Bay and Pipeline to see professional surfers from around the world ride the Big Waves. We will have plenty of time to shop in Haleiwa; this tiny town has some of the world’s best local art and food!

DAY 4 | Tuesday, January 24th
8:00AM | Oceanside Morning Yoga and Meditation + Breakfast Free day! Relax on the beach, take a surf lesson, learn Hula dancing, bike the island, or shop in Waikiki!
5:00PM | Hawaiian Outrigger Canoe Adventure. Kay Kay’s Canoe club will take us out for a lesson paddling the traditional Hawaiian Outrigger Canoes.
DAY 5 | Wednesday, January 25th
6:00AM | Sunrise Hike to Historic Diamond Head. This is Hawaii’s most recognized landmark with coastal views and military history.

12:00PM | Eastern Island Beach Day. Swim and Snorkel in the beautiful crystal clear waters!

President's Day Weekend, February 16- 20 2017
Ironstrength creator Dr. Jordan Metzl and Pure Yoga’s Kiley Holliday will host a whole body fitness retreat on the island of Barbados. This special getaway is ideal for students seeking that perfect balance of stretching, strengthening, and fitness in a tranquil Caribbean setting.
Enjoy five days at the luxurious Ocean Two Resort located on the southern coast of Barbados. The hotel - complete with spa services, AC, and WiFi overlooks a secluded bay with pristine water and white sand beaches, making it an excellent place not only to enjoy waterfront workouts but also leisurely swimming, sun bathing, and snorkeling. Right next-door is Bodhi’s surf school, where everyone will have the opportunity to learn the secrets of riding the waves in a safe and fun environment. With St. Lawrence Gap just a short walk away, retreat goers will also have a variety of spectacular restaurants, lively bars, and shops to entertain them upon leaving the beach.
Each morning will begin with a rigorous HIIT style workout on the beach led by Jordan. It will consist of full body strengthening exercises suitable for all ages and fitness level. An expansive breakfast buffet will then serve as a delicious reward for all of that hard work on the beach. Following breakfast, guests are free to relax, enjoy time in the water, or learn to surf (included).
At Sunset, Kiley will guide the group through a gentle yoga sequence designed to ease tight hips, hamstrings, and shoulders, while taking great to address the aches and pains that can sometimes pop up in the athlete’s body.

DAY 1 | ARRIVAL Morning Arrival to Havana
Welcome lunch overlooking the Straits of Florida at the Hotel Nacional. Tasty Cuban food served family style with a great view of the Havana sea wall and the old Spanish fortress. The setting brings many back to the 1950s, when the mafia held its annual meetings at this historic hotel.
Following lunch we’ll check-in at the Hotel Habana Riviera, also known as the Gran Caribe Habana Riviera, located on the Malecón, Havana’s famous seawall, in Vedado neighborhood.
Once settled back at the hotel, Tanya will lead us through our first yoga practice, a therapeutic deep practice to unwind after your travels. This class will open up hips and stretch out the low back while invigorating you with energy! We’ll work up an appetite and head to a cooking class followed by dinner Paladar Atelier. This restaurant is equally known for its atmosphere and exquisite cuisine. The lighting and textures of the house, which was home to a pre-revolutionary senator, coupled with walls adorned in modern art, create a cozy, but modern setting.

We’ll start the day with yoga. This 90-minute class will focus on breath, core, and hips. Be prepared dive deep into your practice while getting a sweaty flow going to detox and restore. A brief meditation at the end to align and center ourselves for the exciting day ahead.
After yoga we’ll have a socio-economic discussion with urban planner Miguel Coyula, who’s presentation will touch on housing, infrastructure, investment and restoration programs. It’s bound to leave you with a better understanding of why Havana looks the way it does today and possibilities moving forward
We’ll then continue with a walking tour of the Old City. Wander through the Plaza Vieja, the oldest plaza in Havana, dating from the 16th century. We will see the Plaza de San Francisco, a cobbled plaza surrounded by buildings dating from the 18th century, dominated by the baroque Iglesia and Convento de San Francisco dating from 1719; Plaza de la Catedral and the Catedral de San Cristóbal de La Habana; Plaza de Armas, a scenic tree-lined plaza formerly at the center of influence in Cuba. It is surrounded by many of the most historic structures in Havana as well as important monuments.
Lunch at Doña Eutimia paladar: Famous for its ropa vieja and frozen mojitos, this cozy paladar made Newsweek Magazine’s top 100 restaurants in the world in 2012. The restaurant’s location in the beautiful cathedral square is unbeatable.

DAY 3 Tanya will lead you through a beautiful twisting practice this morning. Using breath, alignment, and core connection to go deeper into understanding twists.
After yoga we’ll visit to a home in Central Havana for a discussion with Magia López and Alexey Rodriguez of the hiphop/jazz duo Obsesión about their experiences and views on race and gender equality in Cuba.
Relax and rejuvenate as we spend the afternoon at Playas del Este, a chain of beaches 25 minutes away from the city center, that extend for 15 miles along the north coast of Havana.
We’ll return to Havana for our farewell dinner at Café Laurent, a paladar located in the beautiful Vedado District. Blocks from the Hotel Nacional, this penthouse apartment has been converted into a lovely rooftop restaurant.

DAY 4 Final yoga class. This class will be a mix of celebration and fun combing everything we learned from the weekend for a fun flow!

This retreat will offer ample opportunities for you to enjoy and deeply relax in unique surroundings with like-minded people. With morning and evening yoga, and optional activities, there is plenty to do, or you may just prefer to relax by the pool, read a book, and explore the local area.
The Tuscany yoga retreat with Cooper will be held at Il Borghino, a breathtaking villa settled on a hilltop, overlooking forests, vineyards, olive groves, with mountains in the distance. It is located 7 miles from Lucca, a beautiful walled city, harkening back to the Renaissance Era.

Spend the day in breath-taking Cinque Terre exploring the five coastal villages embedded in rocky cliffs along one of Italy’s most scenic stretches of Liguria. For those who are keen hikers, it is possible to spend a day walking and climbing between these beautiful villages and enjoy some spectacular scenery along the way. For others, you can still enjoy walking some of the more gentle trails, spend time swimming, exploring the villages or sampling some of the local delights! Our drivers will drop you off at one of the five villages in the morning and pick you up again in the evening
