Yvette Jain inspires and empowers those around her in their physical transformation and spiritual journey. Her philosophy: be true to yourself, put in sincere effort, and have fun!
She teaches a challenging & uplifting power yoga flow, based on the Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga method. She motivates her students to work to their potential and discover new possibilities of strength, flexibility & balance, while emphasizing the connection between breath & movement. Most importantly, she encourages her students to awaken to their personal power so that they are ready to make a positive impact on their lives off the mat. Yvette also offers restorative yoga, prenatal yoga, and guided meditation classes.
A Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) through Yoga Alliance, she received her first 200-hr certification from Pure Yoga NYC with Kay Kay Clivio and Yogi Charu and completed a 100-hr mentorship in Hot Power Vinyasa with Loren Bassett. She is also certified in Restorative Yoga through Mary Aranas and Prenatal Yoga through Mary Barnes. She is currently deepening her understanding of Hatha yoga, meditation and philosophy with Yogi Charu. Yvette is filled with love and gratitude for all her teachers who have passed on their wisdom and guidance.
She supports the S.E.A.K. Foundation, Bent on Learning, and the Africa Yoga Project - organizations that promote physical and emotional health and teach communities how to create possibilities for inner peace.

What first attracted you to yoga?
Yoga practice is complete - addressing the physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual aspects of one's being.
What do you love about teaching?
As one of my mentors says, "Teacher and student are two sides of the same coin." My students inspire and teach me. With them, I co-create a shared experience in class. I am committed to sharing my knowledge and my heart with students - as a guide and as a friend - empowering them to lead a life they love.
What motivates you to practice today?
Yoga is a journey of transformation. Be willing to face resistance with courage and open your heart to what is possible, and you'll find the benefits to be real - a physical and energetic radiance in the body, a calming of the mind, and a reawakening of the spirit.
What do you love about Pure Yoga?
I love that Pure Yoga recognizes and offers various lineages and styles of yoga all in one place, and that as a community, we can all learn from each other! |
