    MORE ABOUT YOUR TEACHER TRAINERS

    KAY KAY CLIVIO

In 1996, KK Clivio came to yoga in an effort to rehabilitate an injury she sustained as a competitive outrigger canoe paddler in Hawaii. During the course of her recovery she not only regained agility and healed, but cultivated a practice, discovered a passion, and, later -- a vocation.
Keenly aware that traditions are not inherited but (L)earned, KK spent the next seventeen years devotedly deepening her understanding of yoga. As part of this effort, she traveled to far reaches of the world and studied with luminous teachers including Bikram, Ana Forrest, Baron Baptiste, John Friend and Shri K. Pattabhi Jois in India. Her fascination with the human form and how that connects to spirit in the practice led her to deep anatomy studies with cadaver guru, Gil Hedly.
"These teachings have transformed my life," says KK, "and I want to share them in a very heartfelt way with each individual student."

    KILEY HOLLIDAY

Kiley Holliday is a New York City based yoga teacher, wellness counselor, and certified Tea Master. The practice of yoga, in her view, is a means to heal the body and focus the mind in order to maintain a relative state of equanimity. Born in Los Angeles, she spent her early years training as a competitive figure skater before moving east to attend college at New York University. After several years characterized by extreme bouts of sitting in the library, she turned to yoga to regain the strength and flexibility she’d had as a young athlete. In 2007, she left graduate school to become a yoga teacher and hasn’t looked back.

Always accompanied by an inspiring playlist, Kiley’s classes emphasize precise physical alignment while increasing strength and flexibility within the framework of an innovative vinyasa sequence. She strives to honestly assess the strengths and limitations of her students and offers instruction designed to help practitioners maximize their potential both on and off the mat. Kiley is certified E-RYT 500 by Yoga Alliance, and has studied under Dana Flynn and Ana Forrest, as well as numerous other talented teachers in Los Angeles and NYC. She teaches hot power yoga, acrobatic vinyasa flow, and yoga for athletes both privately and in studios around New York City, in addition to leading retreats and workshops around the world. She has been featured in numerous publications, including Shape, the Fashion Spot, and the New York Times. Kiley recently concluded a two-year stint as a Lululemon Brand Ambassador and is now proudly sponsored by Tanya-B, Carbon 38, Spiritual Revolution Yoga Mats, and KIND snacks.
