Yogi Beans



Yogi Beans instructs the following:
  • Me & My Bean Yoga (1 - 3 Years)
  • This Yogi Beans class appeals to parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and adult caregivers that seek a fun and mutually enjoyable way to bond with their little yogi. Class moves at an energetic pace to keep up with your toddler's imagination! Children at this age learn best through simple hands-on exercises, use of fun props and the repetition of songs, games and playful basic yoga poses. These classes uniquely create the foundation for a healthy and lifelong bonding activity and connection. No prior yoga experience is necessary. Parent or caregiver participation is required. 45 minutes.
     

  • Family Yoga (4 - 8 years)
  • Yoga practiced as a family is a wonderful way to instill cooperation, communication and respect between children and parents (and even siblings!). Classes incorporate basic yoga poses through creative, fun yoga-themed adventures. Extra emphasis placed on teamwork and collaboration through partner poses and group games. At the end of each Family Yoga class, a calm environment is created for you and your bean to relax and have a restful Svasana. No adult yoga experience is necessary. Price includes reservation for 1 adult and 1 child. 45 minutes.

  • Bean Yoga I (4 - 8 Years)
  • Through adventures, games and creativity, Bean Yoga classes encourage kids to build self-confidence, physical strength and concentration. Partner poses, forwards bends, backbends, standing poses, twists, and basic inversions are explored with a light introduction to alignment. Children are encouraged to freely express their individuality while learning some basic yoga principles and having a blast. Svasana and foot rubs are included! 60 minutes.

  • Tween Yoga (9 - 13 Years)
  • Yogi Beans' unique Tween curriculum uses yoga to help bridge the gap between child and teenager. Tween Yoga classes incorporate a more adult approach to the yoga poses, breath and meditation, while encouraging the individuality and creativity of each Tween. Classes introduce more complicated poses that require a greater attention to full-body coordination - such as arm balances, hip openers, inversions and restorative yoga. Through discussion, mindful games and meditation techniques, deeper explanations of yoga concepts are explored in a supportive, fun atmosphere. No prior yoga experience required. 70 minutes.
     

  • Bean Yoga II (6 - 9 years)
  • Through adventures, games and creativity, Bean Yoga classes encourage kids to build self-confidence, physical strength and concentration. Partner poses, forwards bends, backbends, standing poses, twists, and basic inversions are explored with a light introduction to alignment. Children are encouraged to freely express their individuality while learning some basic yoga principles and having a blast. Svasana and foot rubs are included! 60 minutes.

  • Mini Bean (3 - 6 years)
  • Mini-Bean Yoga classes are extremely imaginative and creatively introduce all age-appropriate poses and activities. Classes incorporate easily understood explanations of breathing techniques, yoga poses and focus and concentration exercises all while maintaining a fun and playful environment. Classes end with time for mini-beans to lie down, relax and receive a calming foot rub (their favorite part of class!). 45 minutes.

  • Teen Yoga (13 - 16 years)
  • Tween & Teen Yoga combines Yogi Beans' unique Tween curriculum with a more adult approach to yoga. Greater emphasis is placed on correct alignment in poses and body awareness. A playful atmosphere is encouraged through inclusion of inversions, arm balances, and deeper backbends that help build strength, flexibility and confidence. As being a tween/teen can be a stressful time, classes will also focus on restorative poses, meditation, breathing and discussion to encourage relaxation and self-awarenes both on and off the mat. 70 minutes.
