Sherman Morris has been practicing yoga for over 20 years and has been teaching since 2002. He developed his unique, distinctive style of yoga by integrating work from amazing teachers he's had both on the mat and off. Over the years he has cultivated a wealth of knowledge on building a better system through mind, body and breath awareness. He playfully weaves alignment, creative and smart sequencing with tenderness that embraces the heart. His classes are strong, sweaty and deeply nurturing, full of great music and humor. He believes the power of the practice comes from the unique experience that each student walks away with.

I have been practicing yoga for 7 years and teaching for 5. I was a professional dancer for a number of

years and because of that in my classes I love to play with the idea of fusing a more fluid movement with

the poses. I believe in a yoga practice that challenges people to grow physically, mentally, and

spiritually. I believe that our bodies were created to move and therefore we should take the time to

experiment with our limitations and exceed past the boundaries that we give ourselves.

Lauren believes yoga should be fun. She teaches a playful, challenging vinyasa sequence with an emphasis on alignment. She always encourages her students to edit the practice according to their unique needs, and she focuses on the breath in order to help still the mind. Lauren aims to rejuvenate the spirit, and facilitate a positive shift in her students that goes well beyond the mat.
